Climate Tribe Social is opening its doors — but we are doing it carefully.

Rather than bringing everyone in at once, we are using a temporary wait-list during our opening period. This gives us a little room to make sure that the experience we have spent so much time building works just as well for real members as it does behind the scenes.

This is not about creating artificial scarcity or making Climate Tribe Social seem exclusive.

It is about careful stewardship.

During this short opening period, we are checking the things that matter most: whether new members can find their way around easily, whether our welcome and orientation process makes sense, whether membership access works correctly, whether reporting and moderation systems are ready, and — most importantly — whether people feel comfortable beginning conversations and becoming part of the community.

Why We Are Taking Our Time

Climate Tribe Social was created for learning, dialogue, cooperation, collaboration, Adaptive Resiliency, and practical response to the Climate and Ecological Emergency.

A healthy community cannot be measured simply by how many people enter the door.

It matters whether people feel welcome when they arrive.

It matters whether they understand where to begin.

It matters whether they feel safe enough to ask questions.

And it matters whether members begin connecting with one another rather than simply becoming another number on a membership list.

That is why we would rather grow thoughtfully than quickly.

What Happens Next

Our phased opening continues over the coming weeks, beginning with the foundational areas of Climate Tribe Social and gradually expanding into additional learning, challenge, resilience, mitigation, transformation, regional, and specialized spaces.

The wait-list itself is expected to be temporary.

As we complete our opening checks and become comfortable with how the community is functioning, we will continue inviting people inside.

If you would like to be part of Climate Tribe Social, you are warmly invited to add your name to the wait-list.

Join Us as We Begin

We are not trying to build the largest climate community on the internet.

We are trying to build a healthy, thoughtful, useful one — a place where people can learn from one another, prepare together, exchange ideas, develop Adaptive Resiliency from the standpoint of Self- and Collective-Preservation, and turn concern about our shared emergency into constructive response.

If that sounds like a community you would like to help shape, we would be glad to have you with us.

Join the Climate Tribe Social Wait-list

Thank you for your patience as we open the doors carefully — and thank you especially for wanting to walk through them.
